Infra Red Safety Beam

We have quite a range of infra red  beam units including battery, long range and multi beam.  This unit is our trusted and versatile beam due to the fact it is 12v-24v ac or dc, therefore works with most control equipment. It can be programmed to be n/o or n/c.

Range Of Beam

It has a range of 15m but because no where has the perfect environment 10m is a more consistent range. These units are small, easy to wire, extremely reasonable and because they are versatile, is our best seller.

Infra Red Beam wiring

The infra red beam has a transmitter two wire 12-24v and the receiver is 4 core cable. Two wires for the power 12-24v and two wires for either normally open or closed contacts. The units draw a minimum current of 45ma and have a 1 amp 12v relay. The normally closed circuit is usually used for safety devices. Therefore the normally open circuit is used to open gates and barriers.
